Pastor's Report

Denn reported on his various activities since our last meeting.

A number of new families who have started attending both sites were mentioned.

Reports were presented from Pastor Stefan, Pastor Rob, and Pastor Marilyn.

Meeting Highlights

Gros Morne Has committed to resealing and relining the parking lot in late April, or early May of 2025. This is for allowing them to park their trailer in our parking lot.

International Conference of Wesleyan Church Denn has been asked to serve as one of two Canadian delegates to the ICWC in January 2025. He will be away for 7 days and all expenses will be covered by the National Church.

Drainage Issues Denn reported on water issues discovered during repair on the pipe leading from the church to the septic tank. This resulted in extensive drainage having to be put in under the back lawn. The final bill was under $4,800.00

Kenenday It was decided to finish our partnership with Kenenday by sending them the balance of what is in the account. $19,660.00 to construct a new drying floor for grains and seeds and provide needed bicycles for students who are coming from a distance. A new village partnership is being investigated in Haiti.

Christmas Birthday Offering It was decided that the Christmas offering would be combined with a Birthday Appeal for needed maintenance and tech upgrades at our buildings. This would include roofing and trim repairs and interior painting at Gatehouse, replacement pianos and light upgrades. This is the 30 anniversary of our first worship and the 20th anniversary of the Gatehouse building.

Membership: Herb and Pam Gibson were accepted into membership.

Parsonage: While this is not imminent ongoing work is happening. We still feel this is an important project that needs to be investigated for future staffing.
